At ICORP we are in the process of securing a 15000-hectare sanctuary in Mozambique to ensure that all wildlife is safe and able to flourish. As an NFP organization, we rely heavily on donations to ensure that our brave Rangers are able to continue with their operations to stop all illegal wildlife activities.
That’s why I am putting my hand up to do a #waxforwildlife (waxing my body – most painful thing in my eyes) and trying to fundraise $1000 (or more) for ICORP. This year I’ll be working with ICORP in South Africa. So please jump aboard and help us to acquire more land and help save Africa’s wildlife by kindly donating
Marc Mc Donald, the founder of ICORP, was interview by Lisa G on 107.3 HFM. If you are interested you can listen to the interview below.
G’day All
I would like to introduce to you all Mr Marc McDonald. Founder of ICORP (International Coalition Of Rhino Protection) a Registered not for profit organisation in South Africa Australia and the U.S.A. Most of you know who he is but for the people that don’t here is a short introduction. Marc has been working in the Conservation and Wildlife Protection for over 35 years he has put in enormous time his heart and soul to the cause. Fighting against mafia-style armed poaching syndicates and corrupt officials almost costing him his life on several occasions helping out the communities and underprivileged kids. Marc is an inspiration and a True Professional. It’s an ongoing fight to ensure that wildlife stays protected and secure. In 4 months our ICORP unit has removed over 400 snares and Gill nets. Apart from physically chasing poachers with dogs and machetes, some that are armed, several arrests made, a huge difference has been made on the Reserves/ Sanctuaries we operate on. Poaching is not just for meat, but for wet markets and to supply the witch doctor trade. This black-backed jackal is a prime example. Fortunately, he was located by our team, released and set free 13/07/20. Please donate to ensure that this Non- Profit Counter-Poaching force stays effective.
ICORP founder Marc McDonald will give regular ‘Bush talks with Marc’ on topics that ICORP are concerned/working with. Please check in here or YouTube for regular video updates. Please help us in our work by donating and helping us support our brilliant Rangers.
